Moses turned aside to see the burning bush
How many bushes have we passed over
Distracted by the weight of time and busyness
Gone from us not to be recaptured, burned out
The flame draws someone who will turn aside
Remove their shoes and see the holy ground
Listen to the voice, raise all their doubts to have
Them dismissed or solved one by one, just dust
Watch, keep awake, look for the burning, yearning
Dwelling within, listen, see, stop, rest, question
The encounter was worth turning and taking rest
