Fish

God gives from the abundance of creation,
From simplicity and not from complicated schemes
The weight is ours if we take it and face it alone
There is more if we sit by the quiet streams
Opening our hearts to all that is within its depths
The answer is inside, not on some far off place
Not in retaliation or confusion, set in the spaces
Where we have to slow down and listen, encircling,
Enveloping all the cares of weight and toil,
Taking us inward farther than we have journeyed
To the deepest pools teeming with abundance
