Sit beside

Jesus got up and say by the sea

The crowds gather and Jesus sits

Beside them in a boat, solitary

Finding solace, a time of prayer

It's okay when they come, sit beside

Them too, does the story come from

The moments of reflection by the sea

Or from the reflection of the faces before

Sat beside, not alone, left to drift 

Sat beside, chose us to come and be

Sat beside as an equal to teach, to love

Come and be sat beside, rest, pray,

Listen and know we are apart of all
