Connection

We fear being lost and alone
  just one in this big world
Yet every animal
  lives in community
Not alone and tossed about
  having ways to communicate
Traveling in pods, gaggles
  in formation, altogether
We like to think of
  our wild independence
To be cast off from
  one another
We lose our bounds
  our ways of being whole
Every unclean person
  Jesus healed was brought in
Back into the community
  back into the family
Not alone and outcast
  whole again
