Faith

Walking the path together set against the fear of the world
Not seeing color, sin, gender, differences that are made
Nothing compared to God's love shown to us in Christ
Crossing the boundary lines faithfully with arms wide open
To the world, the theif by his side forgiven of sin
The centurion confessing his faith aloud in front of
The maddening crowd, the women who refuse to leave
Who follow to the end, even daring to visit the tomb
Can we not walk that faith, the one that claims the sinful
As a part of the family of God, the one that listens at the
Feet, heals women who plead for a spot, the one that
Takes fishermen, tax collectors, zealots, thieves and allows
Them to follow, to fish, to try and heal a world
Can we not walk that faith with the shoes of love
