Time

It's like stepping through a door back in time
All the flowers I've seen die are just coming
To life a resurrection because of miles traveled
Meeting the blooms of redbud joys of color
Landscape so first newly green and life bursting
From the ground to begin again anew reminders
Life comes to us again somehow in some way
Springing round us if we but have eyes to see,
Ears to hear a carefully placed treasure in soil
We can always live attuned to the splendor
Of life's rebirth showing us change doesn't kill
Only makes things new
