Just beyond the point of grasping,
Just beyond the point of knowing,
Just beyond where we can stand,
Just beyond our comprehension,
Just beyond the far horizon,
Just beyond our sight, or striving,
Just beyond our care and concern,
Just beyond the farthest hill,
Just beyond the journey's destination,
Always just beyond ourselves,
Is where the thought of peace abides,
Where the thought of knowing truly,
Where we see the endpoint of life,
Where we see the loving arms outstretched
On the rough hewn beams of love
To gather us all into the just beyond
