Luke 9:51-62
So often we think of God's wrath and forget this scripture tucked in Luke by Jesus. People back when Jesus walked get to decide whether or not to welcome or follow him. No wrath immediately brought down from heaven, no condemnation from Jesus lips, just the invitation and each one gets to decide. We need to remember our job is to invite, whether or not someone accepts is up to them. We don't know peoples hearts, we don't know why, we don't know what makes an acceptance and a decline. They are all for God to judge. We just make the invitation. What would an invitation look like?
