Care

May we have a care,
  a care for one another,
A care for more than ourselves,
  a care for all in our care.
May we keep the seeds
  of compassion as something
Fragile, to be sheltered
  because in it is hope.
Hope for the future,
  hope the world won't forget.
Won't forget to reach put,
  won't forget we are but dust.
Won't forget there is
  something greater than I.
We need each other,
  we need to care for each other.
So dare to show your care,
  because it is the light in shadow.
