Prophets

The prophets words echo back,
  "Have you not seen, have you not heard?"
Do we put on the blinders and
  ignore all which stands before and in front
Of us. Saying it is only fake,
  there is no reality anywhere, just the stark
Landscape of lies and preserving,
  ourselves, no reaching out beyond because
It has grown too big, and too
  much, we see the never ending line of want.
Close it off, close the door,
  their are only those who deserve and those
Who don't and it is never this
  simple, look, see, hear the cry, not too late.
