Phrase, how you put it

Interpret it, because even the
  worst words cannot hurt
If they are not true and do we
  have to prove their truth
Or prove we see the difference
  calmly, slowly, fully
Because violence does not
  prove anything except
To heighten more violence
  to change hearts
