Intricacies

The web woven with such patterns
  appears over and over
On the porch, on the tree, between
  the branches, between plants
Each one its own intricate show
  of interdependence to stand
Against the storms and wind, to not
be torn asunder by the hiker
Some dip and bend in order to have
  support, some look classic
All are revealed by the grace of sun
  which glances light off dew
Others are not known until you have
  walked between its strong bonds
One strand upon another seeking to
  strengthen the one before
Right to the center, the heart where
its weaver rests from its toil
What can we learn from the spider
  and the web, strength in
Recognizing interdependence, the
interplay of how we are connected
How we can be caught in the web
  trying to destroy another
We are caught in the intricate web
of life and we need to admire it
