They gave put from their own abundance
  even though they had little
The first are last and the last first
  it is easier to thread a needle
What has happened to these words
  did we loose them, have we
Become like Pharisees demanding
  an adherence to law forgetting
All the laws broken by Christ who
  hung out with sinners, partied
With the poor and outcast, ate grain
  on the Sabbath, called the unlikely
Untrained fishermen touched unclean
  ones told stories lifting up
Those of another faith tradition
  as being the ones to show
Us the way and somehow we have
  lost it amongst power
