Lifting up

There are days to wish
 for the hand of encouragement
To be direct, when it is so
  helpless, safety is important
In the end, prayers whispered
  constant thought, given word
Faith takes flight in hands
  raised with wanting
Hoping for a better world
  a time when connection
Can finally be made
  know the way forward
Just because we want
  freedom doesn't mean
We receive, we have to
  work and be the example
Christ's hands and feet
  in a world of hurt
