Two women, no men, in a world
  where survival would have been slim
Yet travel together, your people, God, traditions
  are mine now, complete surrender
Can we surrender, do we dare give in
  give up this fight, trust another
Take up another culture, God, way
  would a friendship such as this
Dare to step out in faith and journey
  together, or is there such a hate
