Speak

Deep speaks to deep
as the writer longs for water
In the gentleness of the deer
  a form of quiet peace
There left, silent and graceful
a time to go deep if you dare
The plunge into the unknown depths
cool and refreshing, able to hover
Seeing why lies beneath
  swimming just under
If you go to lay hands on it,
it is gone without a trace
So just float, breath, watch
  listen to the pulse inside
See where it takes you
rest in its calm and let go
Let go of all that weighs
  down the soul, be
One with the water in its
  flow, in the depths
Just be still and know
the depths of the soul, gone
