He left

He didn't fight the point, or try to make himself smaller
He left and went to Samaria, to the well of Jacob
And met her daughter, no matter the judgements
I'm a Samaritan, you're a Jew, it's a woman
He talked and told her things she didn't fully understand
But she believed, because he left, because
He didn't pay attention to the political landscape
Or judge her as less, because he made the way
Of peace, not wrangling, we have so much to learn
If we would stop condemning, stop seeing only
Our own way, trust God and do what we can where
We are, that is enough to change a world
