Turn

Slowly moving,
  tilting onward,
    going on and on,
       time marches forward
Never stopping,
  always going,
     never stopping,
       unless we take a breath
Breath deeply,
  turn slowly,
     taking in the tilt
       and whirl of the planet
Breath deeply,
  stop going,
     turn in place,
       hear the earth breath
Breath deeply,
  stop rushing,
     hear the offering,
       of what the Creator gives
