Stand

Black silhouettes stand against the early morning light
Beautiful shapes tender, tiny fragile set off by the horizon
Adding beauty to the morning song, sung in a
Cacophony of voices yet somehow blending in
Raised together loud and free in praise, each creature
Though different with one united voice raises the
Created diversity of God's good earth and all
Are hush to stand against one another because
Diversity matters to the earth to live, each blade of grass
It's own patch grows yet unites in the lawn adding
The varied colors of existence laid before our eyes
As art pleasing in it's display, why are we so wont
To stand against the tide and be divided in violence
To a world that displays in all it's beauty diversity
