Excitement

If you want to know what it is to wait with anticipation for Christmas just look at a child. My son has been going to bed earlier in order to speed up Christmas day getting here. He thinks if he goes to sleep earlier he will wake up to the next day earlier. All prepared to do the same the next day and today is the eve of Christmas eve. 

Do we hold that much anticipation for the kingdom of God? Do we look at it coming so immediately that we have things to accomplish? Do we reach out beyond ourselves with the never failing love of God? May we find the anticipation of children in working to the kingdom of God.
