Wind

The wind will blow where it will confusing and jumbling things. Jesus answer to Nicodemus seems to bring more questions than answers. It's a beautiful image yet powerful too. The wind blows sheets clean on a line and it is wonderful. The wind blows out of control during a hurricane or tornado and brings such destruction. All these symbolize Spirit though. The wind may gently blow us waving to and fro knowing we are in the gentle pull of Spirit. Then there are the times the Spirit seems to have left is desolate. All our dreams are destroyed and we are left in it's wake. Yet the Spirit is there in the midst of our reconstruction gently blowing into our lives.
